Tom Welder & Jean Welder died together in an auto accident on October 6, 2022. Tom was born on April 12, 1947 in Zeeland ND. Tom was Army and served in Korea. Tom met Jean by offering a can of tuna and some cherries. After a sucessful business caree, Tom and Jean moved to Encanterra.

Tom was a invaluable member of the Veterans Club. He took command of the chairmanship of our major fund raiser - the very successful Golf Charity Event. After his term as chairman, Tom remained  on the Golf Committee. With Jean, their home was the core meeting place for the frequent committee meetings. Our Events success over the last few years owes a great deal to Tom and Jean. He will be greatly missed.

 

Marc H. Falkenhan passed away on July 3, 2021 with family at his bedside at his home. Marc was born Feb 8, 1950 in Kankakee, Il. Marc suffered from the effects of Agent Orange. Marc retired from the Metropolitan University in Denver Colo. after 30 years in computer information technology.

Marc served in the U.S. Navy on the USS Buchanan during the Vietnam War. Marc was a devoted father, grandfather, uncle, cousin and friend.

 

Bob Olson passed away peacefully on July 11, 2021. Robert fought with unwavering hope and courage to overcome bone marrow cancer caused by Agent Orange exposure while serving in US Army during Vietnam War. Bob enlisted in 1967 and served two tours in Germany and one tour in Vietnam. Bob was awarded the Bronze Star.

Bob was born Spokane, Washington and spent his childhood in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. He enjoyed the retirement life with his wife, Wendy and being close to his children and grandchildren.

 

Tom Lulkovich has passed away. If Tom was not there at the beginning of the Club, he was damn close. Tom moved from Encanterra several years ago. He remained close to friends and the Club. He was particularly proud of our work with the AZ Veterans Home and "Adopt A Vet For Christmas".

Thomas Joseph Lulkovich, was born in Sewickly, PA on June 11, 1942 and passed away on December 22, 2020 to join his sisters and bothers-in-law in heaven in celebration of a life well-lived.  He proudly served his country in the US Navy.
